THE RULES ARE PRETTY SIMPLE:
* If you have any kind of B/W image that you'd like other people to color, then simply submit it to one of the B/W folders.
* Posting B/W images to this group means that you GRANT PERMISSION to let other people color the image and post it to their gallery (and then hopefully submit it back to the featured folder of this group)--as long as they GIVE PROPER CREDIT and link back to your original image and gallery.
* If you see a B/W image that you'd like to color, download it (or work online, if you want) and color it. Then post it in your gallery. Make sure you give the proper credit and link back to the original artist's work and gallery--so that they can generate more traffic and interest in their work.
*Also, it would be nice if you would post your coloring efforts to the featured folder, so others can share in both your version and the artists original version... Which (once again) you've linked to!!! Right?
*I've added a few B/W images to get things started. Some of my B/W images may not be very good--or they may be a little rough--but that's not what is most important. Someone may choose to work on one of these and create an interesting variation on the original. Sometimes a really good B/w picture might be ruined by someone who can't color very well... just as children begin by coloring outside of the lines... we all have to begin somewhere. Creating perfect pictures isn't what matters most. It's more important to just have fun and enjoy the creating process. If we keep that foremost in mind, I suspect the viewing pleasure will take care of itself.
OH... By the way, if there is a B/w picture you'd like to see someone post for coloring, place it in the favorites gallery as a shout out for them to think about contributing. He, he.
